This summer I have spent most of it back and forth between my hometown of Cardiff and my adopted home of Bristol. The 44 miles that separate these two great cities have given me time to myself; to think, to reflect and to write. 3 out of 5 of the songs that comprise 'Liminal' began on the train or coach.

I feel the EP as a whole incapsulates the hope, the joy, the desolation and the uncertainty that surrounds summer for me, working hollow jobs with intervals of meaningful time with friends and family whilst never being in one place for too long. The EP attempts to entwine these feelings into a variety of Drum & Bass tracks. I ventured to include numerous influences, samples & vocalists to create the best depiction possible and have managed to achieve that with help from Wiz of ‘No Association’s humble proficiency and HANA2K with her professionalism and virtuosity.

Although 'Liminal' is roughly 3 months of work, It stems much longer than that. The music also gives reference to where I am from and where I am at, with an addition to the importance of both cultural identity and awareness. The renaissance of jungle music has allowed me to attempt to bring old school sounds with an incorporation of new techniques and styles as well as my melodic practice.

Another massive thank you has to go to Gabe Van Giap for his graphical design talents and creating the EP artwork that really incapsulates everything I wanted and more.
